Crosshair codes of 8 pro players, read from demos of official matches: every code comes with its date, map and a true-size preview — exactly how the crosshair looks on a 1080p monitor, pixel for pixel. Open a player for code history, console commands and a config file.
Players with a code: 8Distinct codes: 9Matches parsed: 1Updated: 6 September 2026
Copy the code. In the game open Settings → Game → Crosshair and press Share or Import.
Paste the code and confirm the import: the crosshair changes at once, no restart needed.
The console is even faster: apply_crosshair_code CSGO-jc5WM-UrVHb-n9iwh-9ZR9G-tirqK. Put it on a key with bind to switch between two crosshairs mid-match.
Crosshair console commands
Command
What it does
cl_crosshairstyle
style: 4 — classic static (what almost every pro uses), 3 — dynamic
cl_crosshairsize
arm length; pros use 0–2
cl_crosshairthickness
arm thickness; pros use 0–2
cl_crosshairgap
gap between arms, negative pulls them in; pros use −3 to −5
cl_crosshairdot
centre dot: 0 or 1
cl_crosshair_drawoutline
black outline: 0 or 1; width — cl_crosshair_outlinethickness
Any combination can be built without the console — in the crosshair generator: it outputs a code, a command line and an autoexec.
Frequently asked
Where do the crosshair codes come from?
From demos of official matches: the parser reads every player's crosshair code straight out of the game recording, so each code has a date, a map and an opponent. Some codes at launch were entered by hand from verified sources and carry the source date.
How do I apply a crosshair code in CS2?
Settings → Game → Crosshair → Share or Import, paste the code and confirm. Or type apply_crosshair_code followed by the code in the console.
What crosshair does donk use?
A classic static cross: size 1, thickness 1, gap -4, with a dot, mint (RGB 0, 255, 165). The code from 6 September 2026 is on donk's crosshair page.
What crosshair does s1mple use?
A classic static cross: size 1, thickness 1, gap -4, no dot, cyan (preset 4). Code and history on s1mple's crosshair page.
Static or dynamic crosshair — which is better?
8 of the 8 pros in the database play a static crosshair: it does not move when you run or shoot, so the aim point never changes. A dynamic one (style 3) helps in the first hundred hours — it shows the spread — then it gets in the way of tracking heads.
What is a dot crosshair and who plays it?
A cross with arm length 0 and cl_crosshairdot 1: only a square the size of the line thickness remains. 2 pros currently play with a dot: donk, NiKo — all dot codes.
Why is the colour different after import?
A code stores both a preset (cl_crosshaircolor 0–4) and custom RGB values, but the RGB only applies at value 5. Our previews draw the colour the game will actually show: with preset 1 in the code the cross is green even if another site labels it white.
How do I find my own crosshair code?
Settings → Game → Crosshair → Share or Import: the window shows the code of your current crosshair. You can also build it from console commands in our generator.
How often are the codes updated?
After every parsed demo. A player's current code is the most frequent one over the last 30 days; if there were no demos in a month, the last one seen. The date on each card is the match day.
Which crosshair should I use for AWP?
The AWPers in the database (sh1ro, m0NESY, ZywOo, s1mple) play the same small static cross as riflers: when scoped, the crosshair is replaced by the scope anyway. The scope line width is set by cl_crosshair_sniper_width. AWPer crosshairs.
